Pleased to say my literary reading and Q&A session at KGB bar went amazing as did the Odiosas Art show the next day. Super grateful to everyone who came out to support me. You make life worth living. *cries*

This February 14 I have been invited to do a reading at KGB bar along with other advice columnists. The topic is decolonizing love and you can send us questions beforehand for a Q & A session at the link above.
I will be in Brooklyn, NYC at this art show debuting new work that is a bit different from what I usually do in that I used live models. Excited to share it with you! Many thanks to Las Odiosas for putting this together and including me. This flyer may look familiar. *glances at my website header*
After tons of fucking arguments with people who don’t get that I can’t fear losing what I never had, I just put it in comic form. You can “not all people of color were left in the dust” about this but the fact remains, the ACA left the most vulnerable uninsured too.
I have my amazing patrons at patreon.com/bad_dominicana to thank for allowing me enough sustenance to focus on creating more last year. It’s really improved my life and art and I am eternally grateful to all of you for the support. I was curious to see what I did throughout the year as I was busy cranking stuff out and not really minding how much. Turns out I did alot more than I thought. I compiled most of the visual stuff I created in this post. Most! This is not any of the writing, only a sliver of the shop merchandise, and there are more unfinished pieces, private commissioned pieces from my day job and freelancing, and artwork from projects and collabs that are going to be released later this year. *phew* It was a laborious, productive year. Here’s to 2017 taking us to new heights.
